Wow. I can't believe I have slacked off for over 2 years! I wanted to start this blog to keep family and friends updated on our wedding journey and beyond, but after the engagement post, it looks like we just disappeared! Just kidding! We are still alive and doing very well! We did get married on October 12, 2013 and it was the most beautiful day. The weather was a breezy 72 degrees, birds were chirping and God was ever present in our commitment to each other that day. We had 16 of our closest friends standing up there with us, along with about 250 friends and family cheering us on to victory! :) I won't bore you with the details, but we had a great day, lots of fun and no mishaps. The two families came together in true Leary/Cummins fashion. We did a Cardinal Theme and it turned out really neat. The decorations, the cake, the wedding party gifts were all in sync and we wouldn't have changed anything! We actually were on the 5:00 news that evening because the St. Louis Cardinals were also in the playoffs and they won! So we got to do an interview with Stephanie Diffin from KSDK, Channel 5, in St. Louis. She was wonderful and she respected our day like it was her own. Here is her piece about us. :) Thanks Steph!!
